A unique digital identity, enriched with our personal data, allowing access to a variety of online services. This is a well-established reality that has been in place for several years in universities and research institutions in Italy and around the world. In Lecce, from May 13th to 15th, the annual event for sector experts will take place.
Can the Research & Education model serve as a "pioneer" for the development of online access and collaboration in other sectors, starting with schools and the transmission of our cultural heritage, and extending to citizen services? What are the best practices, policies, and technologies that ensure security and privacy in access while also certifying the authenticity and ownership of the connection between the digital user and the real person in situations where this is required?
The Fifth IDEM Federation Conference, in collaboration with the University of Salento, will be held in Lecce at the Officine Cantelmo from May 13th to 15th, 2015, and aims to address these questions.
