GARR FileSender is a service that allows users to send large files up to 200 GB. It is available to all users affiliated with organizations that are part of the IDEM Federation.

Sending large attachments is no longer a challenge thanks to the new FileSender service. This web-based application allows users to send very large files to any recipient easily and securely, bypassing the typical size limits of email systems.

Files are uploaded to a temporary storage area and remain available for download for a limited time, after which they are automatically deleted. Security is ensured, as only authorized recipients can access and download the files. The service is designed solely for file transfers and does not function as a permanent storage or publishing platform.

IDEM users can also receive files from individuals outside the Federation by sending them a voucher that temporarily grants access to the service.
