On November 5-7 in Milan the second edition of Hack the Cloud will take place: a hackathon created in collaboration with the University of Milano-Bicocca and GARR.

The aim is to join the coding competition with a training opportunity offered by the experts of the Italian research and education network.
Hack The Cloud, in fact, invites students to create innovative ideas also taking advantage of GARR cloud and container infrastructure, which is made available for the event and for which participants will receive a specific training, including lessons on Docker and Kubernetes and operational sessions of cloud deployment.

At the end of the training session, the acquired skills will be certified with a dedicated Open Badge issued by the University.
The main theme of this edition is cloud technology.applied to environmental sustainability. At the end of the contest, on the 7h November, the best ideas will be rewarded with Amazon coupons, offered by the University of Milan-Bicocca
