Innovative projects: new opportunities from RIPE
In this particular year, RACI (RIPE Academic Cooperation Initiative), which supports the academic world and funds important events such as the RIPE Meeting and the RIPE NCC regional meetings, has decided to allocate the funds available in 2021 to support research projects relevant to the work carried out within the RIPE NCC (network coordination centre).
Academic and research institutes operating in the RIPE NCC service are invited to submit proposals for innovative projects until May 31. The projects should focun on the one of the following areas:
- Apply machine learning and big data analytics to the collected routing data to identify and predict trends.
- Apply and customize big data visualization frameworks to the collected routing data to better display the data to users.
RACI's goal is to strengthen links with the academic community while promoting the work of talented researchers and academics in Europe, Central Asia and the Middle East.
