Florence to host the 2023 GARR Conference
The University of Florence will host the new GARR conference from June 14–16.
The title for this year’s edition is "Interconnected Knowledge. Infrastructure for high-performance science".
The event, has become a must-attend event for network users, will be held in Florence on the Novoli Campus and for days will provide an opportunity for discussion and stimulation on the main issues related to the development of digital infrastructures and their most innovative applications.
The Conference will be a forum for participants to share their experiences and reflections on the use of the network as a tool for research, education, and culture across disciplines and contexts. Keynote speakers from the field will discuss the future of the network and cloud platforms, about research infrastructure - particularly in the context of the new NRRP projects, and AI and its profound impact it can have in the research and education sectors.
In addition, topics such as data management and sharing, cybersecurity, digital innovation and much more will be covered.
On the day before the conference, there will be a training appointment: some in-person seminars will be organized specifically for the GARR community users. Information on how to register and attend will soon be available.
