Financing innovative research activities on ICT topics is the objective of the GARR scholarships intended for young graduates under 30.

Until 15 Decembre (at 12 PM) it is possible to apply to present a research project to be carried out within the Italian research and education community. These 10 scholarships, named after Orio Carlini, are aimed at young graduates under 30 who would like to conduct a research project for the development of digital infrastructures and innovative services in any disciplinary field.

The research project, lasting 12 months (extendable), can be carried out at one of the many research and education institutions connected to the GARR network.

In addition to the possibility of increasing one's skills in the proposed research field, the GARR scholarships are a real springboard for training and discussion opportunities with the Italian and European research community. Over the years, in fact, some GARR scholars have taken part in the prestigious international TNC conference, collaborated in European projects and had the opportunity to present the progress of their work on the occasion of the Scholars’ Days and the annual GARR events.

To participate, candidates must be under 30 years old, have a degree (three-year, master's, specialist or single-cycle) and have a good knowledge of English.
