Pubblicato il 22 January 2024

The 2024 edition of the GARR Conference is entitled "Navigating complexity - Digital infrastructures and skills for research"; the event will be hosted by the University of Brescia, in the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Medicine and it will take place from 29 to 31 May 2024.

The GARR Conference is the annual gathering of all those who use the GARR network for study, teaching, and research activities, as well as those who actively contribute to its creation and improvement so that it is always up to speed with users' needs. During the event, participants discuss their experiences on using digital infrastructures and services in various disciplines and contexts. In particular, in this edition, we will discuss the complexity of the challenges we are experiencing, inside and outside the internet.

We will investigate which resources and which tools can support research to provide answers to the great scientific, social and environmental questions of our time, including digital sovereignty, the use of artificial intelligence, data security, access to digital infrastructure on a national and global scale, and many more.

On May 28th, there will also be an appointment with training opportunities: in-person seminars will be organised by GARR for its user community members.

Information on how to register and participate will be available shortly.
