TeRABIT Conference: 25th and 26th June in Bologna!
In Bologna, a two-day event with the TeRABIT project, one year after its launch. On 25th June, a public conference entitled "Networks, HPC and Cloud Computing: Opportunities and Challenges created by the National Research Infrastructures" is scheduled.
On 26th June, the project protagonists will take center stage with a workshop dedicated to HPC resource users, featuring practical labs and demonstrations.
The event is organized within the framework of the TeRABIT project (Terabit Network for Research and Academic Big Data in Italy), financed by the PNRR and in partnership with INFN, OGS, CINECA, and GARR.
The event will be hosted at the Centro Congressi of the CNR Territorial Research Area.
The program includes participation from Michele Mazzola, head of the General Directorate for Internationalization and Communication at the Ministry of University and Research, and Carlo Cavazzoni, head of Leonardo Lab dedicated to HPC and chair of the Industrial Advisory Board of ICSC National Research Center in HPC, Big Data, and Quantum Computing.
During the day, the project partners will present use cases and contributions on the evolution of national research infrastructures and federated services for users as TeRABIT objectives.
