The complete programme for the Workshop GARR 2024 is now available. It will take place from November 5th to 7th at the Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale di Roma.

The workshop programme includes three days filled with presentations and insights:

5th November: The opening day will focus on networking scenarios, highlighting developments in the interaction between different networks and protocols. In the afternoon, sessions will address the evolution of networks and new management models, including topics such as the Quantum Internet, automation, and international multi-domain networks.

6th November: The second day will feature reflections on cloud technologies, covering everything from storage to automation and computing infrastructures. Presentations will share experiences from various communities: astronomy, universities, physics, and biomedical research. In the afternoon, discussions will revolve around digital identities and their crucial role in the European context, featuring significant initiatives like the EU digital wallet.

7th November: The concluding day will centre on the new security regulations (NIS2) and personal data protection, with sessions addressing national cybersecurity and distributed accountability. New services and applications from GARR and the community will also be presented.
